MICHAEL F. SIMONDS, CPA
Owner
Michael F. Simonds was raised on the island of Maui, Hawaii. He graduated from Saint Anthony High School in Wailuku. During his college years, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, and a Master's degree in Business Administration, both from the University of Notre Dame. He earned his Hawaii CPA license in 1988, and has operated his CPA practice since 1991.
Outside of work, he has been a high school football official since 1993, giving back to the sport that he grew up playing in school. He enjoys all levels of play, from the 8-year-old Pop Warner games on Sunday morning to the high school games under the Friday night lights. He's been blessed to be a state championship play-off official since 2003. Besides football, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, and participating in fitness classes at the Maui Family YMCA.
History of the practice
After working for CPA firms, he started his business in 1991 when he noticed there was a need for quality accounting work with a personal touch. His practice has a wide range of clients from individual tax payers all the way up to a large corporation. His clients include artists, electrical contractors, farmers and ranchers, jewelers, and many others.

While the majority of our clients are located on Maui, we work for many individuals and businesses located throughout the State of Hawaii, Saipan, Guam, California, and several other States.
